[08/08/20]   Hey everyone just to let you know I have to take vacations before I lose them . I thought they would roll over to next year but no . So August 24-31 is the first . The second is September 6-21 . I have a week inbetween which I still have openings for so please plan ahead hope everyone is safe and well . Jay

Hello everyone! Unfortunately, it looks like we are closed until June 12th with the order extended yesterday. I am hopeful that this is the last extension and we will finally open our doors again!

I am missing you all like crazy, but at the same time, I have enjoyed being home with my family. I'm really trying to stay focused on the good things, even if they are small. For example, I was working in the yard moving dirt from the back to the front yard, I would pass my lilac bush and just smile because the aroma was so strong! I've been keeping busy over the last couple months with home-schooling my children every other week, painting the house, yard work, lots of yard work, enjoying all the sunny days we have had outside, I've turned into a very serious bird watching lady and I've played lots of cornhole. We just had a pool installed on Tuesday, which is now our spring break 2020, since our spring break was cancelled, as well as our summer. Hopefully, we will have some nice days coming to be able to enjoy it before I go back to work. I hope you all have been able to keep busy and find the little things that make you smile. If you are an essential worker, thank you for keeping the world going. I appreciate you!

I want to give everyone a little update, on what I know so far, on the salon world.

If you had an appointment that was cancelled, due to the closure, I will be reaching out to you once I return to work. I have started a contact list with anyone who has reached out to me over the past couple months. If you would like to be on that list, please send me a message. We will be appointment only when we re-open.

I do ask, once we re-open, please be patient. We have a large clientele that will all need to be re-scheduled. We have 7 stylists on our team and we won't be able to have our same schedules. We will need to space each styling chair out to 6 feet apart allowing only 4-5 stylists working at a time. We will have increased sanitation procedures that will take a little more time to keep everyone safe. Services will take longer due to the length of time between your last appointment and the proper applications we will have to do. Our computer system will be slightly different, so we will be learning those changes. We will be 100% cashless when we re-open! We will no longer be accepting cash for payment, so be sure to bring your debit/credit/gift cards for payment going forward. (You can still use cash as a gratuity.) We will have a receptionist to help us through all of this as well. They will help answer the phones, direct our guests with the new procedures, ring out our guests after they are serviced, etc. which will help us get to our next guest quicker. We will no longer have a lobby waiting area. You will need to wait outside or in your car until your stylist is ready for you. Masks wills be required by everyone at this time. They are non-negotiable. If you can't wear one due to medical reasons or any reason, it is my understanding, we will ask you to wait to receive your services until the mask requirement is lifted in the salon. You will be required to wear a mask in the salon at all times. If you do not have a mask or do not want to use your mask, masks will be available for purchase for $1. We will also have face shields for when we are doing specific services like shampooing. Many, many changes coming that we do ask for patience while we navigate through everything.

I, like many of you, am struggling to not cut my hair off. I have not cut my hair at all. My bangs are longest they have ever been. My eyebrows... well... they are horrific and unfortunately, we will not be offering that service as soon as we re-open for safety reasons. We will get through this.

Please don't feel embarrassed, ashamed or guilty if you or someone else has done your hair over the closure. I completely understand! I will never shame you. I will never put you down for cutting or coloring your own hair, even if it is uneven or the wrong color. I am an educated, confident and professional hair stylists. I can fix it! No worries at all. I need to get back to work because I am almost out of shampoo and conditioner. If you have had to resort to using over the counter products, no problem. Nothing a Malibu treatment can't fix. A Malibu treatment will remove all that build up and bring life back to your hair. I promise, everything is going to be ok!

As of now July 10-17 hairmasters frandor will close for remodeling and reopen as Cost Cutters frandor with a grand opening weekend starting July 18 and I will be there july18-21 so be one of the first to be in our new salon and yes you can pre book your appointments as always 😁
